Community harvest

Because food is how we care for each other.

Good food connects us and belongs to everyone. Through the Community Harvest program, Lane County Bounty partners with funders & direct-service organizations like health clinics, schools, and food pantries to provide community members with free food from our local marketplace.

We work to address food insecurity and education in the most meaningful way we know- by sharing seasonal food and the knowledge to enjoy it. Participants receive Community Bounty Boxes filled with what’s growing now, along with simple recipes to support everyday cooking and connection to land.

We work closely with program partners program on everything from pickup locations to delivery days to box contents, so participants can get the most out of the season’s bounty.

Let’s eat together!

the impact of fresh food on our community

“Thank you for helping me eat healthier and reducing financial stress. I couldn't believe how clean and delicious the food was. And meat is so expensive so this program was helpful with my food bill. I tried 2 recipes, too, it was a big help in learning how to prepare this good food.”

“We have stayed healthier and recovered from sickness quicker due to having the means to eat much better than before. We are so grateful for everything.”

“This was an amazing resource for our family and community. It provided many healthy foods options for our family. We were more energized, and perky. Our family doesn’t have the ability to access fresh produce on a regular basis prior to this, thank you.”

"This is such a blessing and I don't know what I would do without it I would probably go hungry"

“These emergency food credits have helped our family immensely. Thank you!! We are still going through a rather difficult time with reduced work hours and reduced snap benefits. We just don’t make enough money right now to make all our ends meet. Having some fresh vegetables for our kids is so important.“

“Me, my husband, and our son have been feeling amazing and have noticed a change in both energy and appetite. Wanting less snacks due to more fruit and veggies in meals. And to get such high-quality produce was a blessing I utilized for every mealtime.”
